The August heat will be kicking in, which means it is crucial to stay on top of your lawn maintenance.

Stick to a schedule. Little rain and a blaring sun can cause your plants and grass to dry out. So make sure you are watering daily, especially if they are newly planted.

Keeping a schedule will also prevent your grass from browning out. If your lawn is browning out, less mowing and more watering can get your grass healthy again.

Keep an eye out for pests and dead leaves as they help spread disease and ruin your landscape.
