Did you know that hummingbirds are the smallest bird species in the United States?

They’re  very tiny and can sometimes be mistaken for a flying insect. They’re called hummingbirds because of the humming sound they make when they flap their wings, which is about 80 flaps per second. That’s pretty amazing.

So if you want to see hummingbirds up close, then install these plants in your backyard or container:

Trumpet Creeper
Bee-balm
Cardinal Flower
Red Columbine
Trumpet Honeysuckle
Catawba Rhododendron
