Looking to add some interest behind a hedge border?  Try the Pee Gee Hydrangea Grandiflora. The Pee Gee has lovely 8” white poofy flowers that slowly get a tint of purple to them as the flower matures.  It can be purchased as a tree or shrub form. I personally prefer the tree form if you want to tuck behind a row of hedges.

It definitely adds a nice affect in the landscape whether as an accent in your yard or at the entrance to your home. The Grandiflora is an older variety and its flowers are persistent until the frost.  The Pee Gee likes to grow in full sun and will tolerate partial shade.

Fall is the best time to plant since there’s no threat of a heatwave. Feel free to call us for your Fall plantings or leaf clean up.
